Greenovators - Youth Innovators Contest PDF Print E-mail

The Greenovators contest is an initiative of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) - together with EARTH University in collaboration with the Ibero-American General Secretariat and the Government of the Republic of Costa Rica through its Ministry of Environment and Energy - which aims to reward and promote projects of mitigation and adaptation to climate change led by youth.

Prizes will be awarded to 30 young leaders with seed funds repayable as follows:

 

  • 5 Awards of USD$ 15,000
  • 10 prizes of USD$ 10,000
  • 15 prizes of USD$ 5,000

 

In addition, young winners will have the opportunity to participate in the Greenovators event, which will take place in Costa Rica.

Deadline: Proposals must be submitted between July 17 and August 30, 2014. (12.00am EST)
