Cooper established CFW in 2001 with the intention of showcasing the fashion design talent of the region to the rest of the world and driving export opportunities for Caribbean designers. Today Caribbean Fashionweek is considered the region's premier fashion and style event and has also been credited with launching the careers of many Caribbean-born international models.
